The plant is photographed in a hydroponic growing container. The package includes a plant in hydroponic medium and a hydroponic container without a watermark.

Hydroponic plants are grown without a substrate and only in a growing medium that binds water and maintains humidity. Plants in hydroponics grow faster , have a much better root system and are less susceptible to diseases or pests. It is recommended to use special hydro-fertilizers and nutrient solutions for hydroponics.

About the plant:
Philodendrons, or simply philodendrons, are plants from the Araceae family. It comes from the rainforests of Central and South America. The undemanding Selloum species grows to large sizes and is particularly impressive with its long petioles with shaggy leaves.
Unlike the others already mentioned, this robust perennial herb has an interesting way of life. In tropical America, it is commonly found in treetops, on rocks or in swamps. We can ensure a similar life for them in domestic conditions as well, if we give them some support in the flowerpot, which they could also climb on, e.g. a coconut stick, otherwise we let them flow freely from, for example, a shelf.
An interesting feature of the life of philodendrons is the temperature reached during pollination - scientists measured an incredible 43 °C.

Light

The plant needs a lot of light to grow healthy and color its leaves. Give the plant plenty of bright light without sunlight that could burn the leaves. The ideal location is the north and east side.

Watering

Watering for hydroponic plants follows the line watermark, always observe the line in the middle of the line. In the event that he will not be at home longer, then after the upper limit of the line.

Humidity

An increase in air humidity benefits the plant, so we can dew.

Propagation

Stem cuttings that root in water or soil are very easy to propagate.

Common problems

Overwatering: Too much water can cause root rot, yellowing and leaf drop. Dry leaves: Dry air and low humidity will cause the leaves to dry out. Curled leaves: Cold air (most often drafts) can cause leaves to curl.

How does DMP delivery work?

All plants and some accessories on our e-shop are sent directly from the grower in Holland. We want them to be at your place as soon as possible and not spend time going around different warehouses and stores. We ship part of our own products marked with the Made in DMP label directly from our warehouse in Prague.
Therefore, it may happen that you will be charged a higher price for shipping, because you have things in the basket both from the grower and from our own production.
If you have products worth CZK 2,000 (For SK 82 EUR) or more in your basket, you will always have FREE shipping!

For some products, such as a book or a physical gift voucher, you can choose the pick-up option in our brick-and-mortar store.

Personal collection is not possible for most goods, because the store does not offer the same range of plants and accessories as in the e-shop. If you are not sure about the choice, stop by in person and together we will choose or order the right one!

Individual shipping prices:

1. DPD

The DPD courier will contact you the day before delivery regarding the exact delivery date. If you want to deliver the shipment to the delivery point , you can make arrangements with the carrier. The price for delivery of plants and selected accessories from NL to the Czech Republic is CZK 149 and to Slovakia EUR 8.
The price for delivery of our products from the warehouse in Prague is CZK 99 within the Czech Republic . Delivery from our warehouse to Slovakia is for the same price - EUR 8.

2. Post office

You can have the selected goods delivered to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in the Czech Republic for 89,- or to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in SK for € 5 . Simply select the delivery method: Zásilkovna * You select the Zásilkovna branch after completing the order.

After creating an order, you can use the map to select a pick-up point.
The shipping company is limited by the size or weight of the package.
If you cannot choose Zásilkovna, you most likely have bulky products in your basket and you need to choose another carrier.

3. Personal collection
