About the plant:
Senecio is a genus of plants from the star family. Senecio rowleyanus may resemble peas or green beads on a string. But it is actually an overhanging succulent with fleshy leaves in the shape of balls. Small white flowers may bloom irregularly. It is suitable for growing in hanging containers, where it stands out beautifully.
This genus includes both herbs and trees, shrubs or vines and can be found almost everywhere in the world. Even in the Czech Republic, we can look for its representative (for example, narrow-leaved elderberry grows here). It was probably brought here with sheep's wool in the 19th century. Originally, this plant comes from South Africa, more precisely from the Republic of South Africa. However, it is highly toxic to mammals. If it gets into pastures, it can cause severe diarrhea, anorexia or even death in livestock.

Light

The old man loves a sunny place. Lack of light causes elongated stems with smaller leaves. With proper care and enough light, it grows quite quickly.

Watering

In the summer, we water the plant only when the substrate is completely dry. We don't water at all in winter.

Humidity

It tolerates dry air and does not require dew.

Propagation

It is quite easily propagated by fresh seeds, offshoots or stem cuttings. Just break off a piece of stem and place it on a sandy substrate.

Common problems

Overwatering: Too much water can cause root rot, yellowing, leaf drop - the plant will have few leaves and will not look good.
Breaking roots and stems: Can happen when transplanting, the plant is fragile

Poškozená - reklamace

Přišla poškozená, vysypanaáz květníku, rozlámané kořínky i větvičky, opadané kuličky, společně ještě s jednou rostlinou, na druhou stranu výborná komunikace s obchodem, vytížení reklamace velice rychlé. Měli by mi přijít nové, tak uvidíme jak to dopadne.

How does DMP delivery work?

All plants and some accessories on our e-shop are sent directly from the grower in Holland. We want them to be at your place as soon as possible and not spend time going around different warehouses and stores. We ship part of our own products marked with the Made in DMP label directly from our warehouse in Prague.
Therefore, it may happen that you will be charged a higher price for shipping, because you have things in the basket both from the grower and from our own production.
If you have products worth CZK 2,000 (For SK 82 EUR) or more in your basket, you will always have FREE shipping!

For some products, such as a book or a physical gift voucher, you can choose the pick-up option in our brick-and-mortar store.

Personal collection is not possible for most goods, because the store does not offer the same range of plants and accessories as in the e-shop. If you are not sure about the choice, stop by in person and together we will choose or order the right one!

Individual shipping prices:

1. DPD

The DPD courier will contact you the day before delivery regarding the exact delivery date. If you want to deliver the shipment to the delivery point , you can make arrangements with the carrier. The price for delivery of plants and selected accessories from NL to the Czech Republic is CZK 149 and to Slovakia EUR 8.
The price for delivery of our products from the warehouse in Prague is CZK 99 within the Czech Republic . Delivery from our warehouse to Slovakia is for the same price - EUR 8.

2. Post office

You can have the selected goods delivered to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in the Czech Republic for 89,- or to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in SK for € 5 . Simply select the delivery method: Zásilkovna * You select the Zásilkovna branch after completing the order.

After creating an order, you can use the map to select a pick-up point.
The shipping company is limited by the size or weight of the package.
If you cannot choose Zásilkovna, you most likely have bulky products in your basket and you need to choose another carrier.

3. Personal collection
