About the plant:
Citrus are plants from the Rutaceae family and originally come from tropical and subtropical parts of Southeast Asia and Australia. The majority are evergreen and heat-loving shrubs to trees with simple, almost leathery leaves. In good conditions (mainly in greenhouses) and in our conditions, they can bear fruit. In normal domestic conditions, it is rather rare. The plant blooms with small white to vanilla flowers, from which fruits can gradually emerge. The plant needs sunlight for healthy growth and in the summer it is possible to leave the plant outside, but avoid strong winds and drafts.

Citrus Red Lemon it is on the stem lime tree bearing red sour fruits. The plant is also decorated with fresh green elongated small leaves. This type of lime has a red color compared to the normal type and the fruits are sweeter.

Light

The plant needs a lot of light to grow healthy and color its leaves. The plant thrives well in a large amount of bright light and tolerates sunlight well, but avoid direct sunlight during the summer months. The ideal location is the south and west side.

Watering

In the warm months, you can water more abundantly and don't forget the regular fertilization for citrus, which the plant needs. Reduce watering in the winter months. Do not leave the plant standing in water for a long time.

Humidity

Citrus needs a warm environment. From spring to autumn, the lime tree can be placed in a sunny spot in the garden, on the terrace or balcony. It will thrive in a bright cooler place with a lower temperature over the winter.

Propagation

Citrus trees are generally well propagated by cuttings from older wood that can root or from seed.

Common problems

Falling leaves on this plant usually indicate cold air, strong drafts or lack of watering. These plants are relatively resistant to pests and you rarely encounter them.

How does DMP delivery work?

All plants and some accessories on our e-shop are sent directly from the grower in Holland. We want them to be at your place as soon as possible and not spend time going around different warehouses and stores. We ship part of our own products marked with the Made in DMP label directly from our warehouse in Prague.
Therefore, it may happen that you will be charged a higher price for shipping, because you have things in the basket both from the grower and from our own production.
If you have products worth CZK 2,000 (For SK 82 EUR) or more in your basket, you will always have FREE shipping!

For some products, such as a book or a physical gift voucher, you can choose the pick-up option in our brick-and-mortar store.

Personal collection is not possible for most goods, because the store does not offer the same range of plants and accessories as in the e-shop. If you are not sure about the choice, stop by in person and together we will choose or order the right one!

Individual shipping prices:

1. DPD

The DPD courier will contact you the day before delivery regarding the exact delivery date. If you want to deliver the shipment to the delivery point , you can make arrangements with the carrier. The price for delivery of plants and selected accessories from NL to the Czech Republic is CZK 149 and to Slovakia EUR 8.
The price for delivery of our products from the warehouse in Prague is CZK 99 within the Czech Republic . Delivery from our warehouse to Slovakia is for the same price - EUR 8.

2. Post office

You can have the selected goods delivered to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in the Czech Republic for 89,- or to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in SK for € 5 . Simply select the delivery method: Zásilkovna * You select the Zásilkovna branch after completing the order.

After creating an order, you can use the map to select a pick-up point.
The shipping company is limited by the size or weight of the package.
If you cannot choose Zásilkovna, you most likely have bulky products in your basket and you need to choose another carrier.

3. Personal collection
