Ceropegia String of Hearts
The candlestick is photographed in a Charlie - hanging flower pot. The package contains a plant in a plastic pot.
About the plant:
Candlestick or ceropegia woodi is a climbing succulent plant with small heart-shaped leaves (hence the name string of hearts ) originating from the tropical regions of southern Africa. The Czech name of the plant is derived from the small white-purple flowers, which are shaped like candles. Small tubers (rhizomes) grow along the stems, in which the plant retains water. We can classify the candlestick among the fast-growing but sparsely growing plants - we can achieve full volume by multiplying it gradually. The plant stands out in hanging flowerpots or on shelves, from which we let the heart-shaped veil flow freely. The plant is fragile, so be careful with manual handling.
