About the plant:
Zelenec or Chlorophytum comosum is a herbaceous overhanging plant that forms rosette-like bunches with its green and white arched leaves and which is still very popular in our homes. It comes from South Africa, where it grows on trees. The herb can bear tiny white flowers on its thin stems, while older plants can send out young rhizomes. The plant is popular for its decorative appearance and for its undemanding cultivation.

Chlorophytum comosum Bonnie differs from other greens only in its leaves, which are twisted like curls.

Every plant is different, just like us humans. Please allow for a possible deviation in appearance compared to the product photo.

Light

The plant prefers a bright place, but it can also handle partial shade. Zelenec also tolerates direct sunlight well, but be careful of the sun's rays after the winter period, when it is not used to them.

Watering

Let the substrate dry before watering - dry conditions do not bother the greens, and they also support the formation of inflorescences and shoots. In the summer we can water more abundantly.

Humidity

Dew leaves will benefit the plant. Without sufficient moisture, the tips of the leaves can dry out.

Propagation

We propagate most often the shoots that the plant produces. We can also separate part of the greens when transplanting.

Common problems

Overwatering: Too much water can cause root rot, yellowing or leaf drop. Warm air, little light: The plant reacts to problems with warm air or a shady location by yellowing, dropping and drying of the leaves.

Perfektně zabalená

I když, vinou dopravce, který ji nejdříve poslal na jiné depo, přišel balíček o den později a vypadal poměrně unaveně. Navíc ho kurýr držel vzhůru nohama.
Po vybalení vypadal zelenec dost otreseně a pomačkaně, ale bez většího poškození. Podle návodu jsem květinu postavila na její místo a zalila až po vyschnutí substrátu (nechala jsem si ji přesadit) Postupně se vzpamatovala a nyní, cca po třech týdnech i kvete.

Delivery to the address by courier

We ship live plant orders Monday through Thursday. If we cannot prepare your shipment within these days, we will send it again the following week. We want to avoid plants being left in the depot for long periods of time, which is especially important during the winter months when cold conditions can harm them.

Individual shipping prices:

1. DPD

A DPD courier will contact you the day before delivery with the exact delivery date. If you would like to redirect the shipment to the collection point, you can make arrangements directly with the carrier. In the winter months, however, we strongly do not recommend redirecting to the delivery boxes, as low temperatures can damage the plants. In this case, we cannot be held responsible for the condition of the plants and complaints will not be accepted.

The price of delivery of plants and accessories throughout the Czech Republic is 149 CZK, to Slovakia 8 €.

2. Post office

You can have the selected goods delivered to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in the Czech Republic for CZK 89 or in Slovakia for €5. All you have to do is select the delivery option "Delivery" when ordering. After completing your order, you will be able to use the map to select a specific delivery location.

Keep in mind that the Post Office has restrictions on package dimensions and weight. If you don't see the Post Office option, you probably have bulky products in your cart and you need to choose another carrier. In the winter months, we strongly do not recommend choosing delivery to Z-Boxes due to the risk of the plants dying in the cold. In this case, we are not responsible for the condition of the plants and the claim will not be accepted.

3. Personal collection

You can pick up your order for free in person at the address Křižíkova 55/65, Prague 8. Once your order is ready, we will send you an e-mail with information about the possibility of picking it up. If you do not collect the order within 3 working days , or if you do not inform us of another collection date, it will be automatically cancelled .

4. Express delivery by courier around Prague

Do you need an order as soon as possible? We also offer the goods on Wolt . Wolt delivers these orders within an hour.

5. Z-boxes, Alzaboxes, PPL boxes and others.

In case of payment by cash on delivery, orders for collection boxes are automatically redirected to the nearest collection point.
