About the plant:
Epiphyllum Anguliger, which belongs to the fat family, is also known under the names of fishbone cactus (fishbone cactus - its leaves resemble it) or zig zag cactus (zig zag cactus). However, you can also find it under the nice Czech name Opičí ocásek. This species is commonly grown for its fragrant flowers. They are white or yellow, they bloom especially at night from autumn to winter and they stand out with a strong sweet smell.

This species is endemic and comes from Central America, more precisely southern Mexico. Its stems are 20 to 30 cm long (may be longer), 3 to 5 cm thick, with rounded ends. We can also grow it, for example, in hanging flower pots so that the stems flow down and stand out.

Light

It likes bright places, but without direct rays of the sun, which could burn the cactus. It grows very quickly in a bright place, but it can also handle partial shade.

Watering

Although it is a succulent, it requires regular watering and is prone to drying out. We water it only after the top layer of the substrate has dried, the moisture of which we check with a finger. It is best to pour the water into a saucer.

Humidity

It tolerates dry air and does not require dew.

Propagation

They are propagated by top cuttings, which are placed on the substrate and allowed to take root. Only later will we transplant them into a flower pot.

Common problems

Overwatering: Too much water can cause root rot, yellowing or leaf drop.
Leaves shrivel: The plant needs watering. Breaking, leaf fall:
We have to be careful, Epiphyllum Anguliger is very fragile.

How does DMP delivery work?

All plants and some accessories on our e-shop are sent directly from the grower in Holland. We want them to be at your place as soon as possible and not spend time going around different warehouses and stores. We ship part of our own products marked with the Made in DMP label directly from our warehouse in Prague.
Therefore, it may happen that you will be charged a higher price for shipping, because you have things in the basket both from the grower and from our own production.
If you have products worth CZK 2,000 (For SK 82 EUR) or more in your basket, you will always have FREE shipping!

For some products, such as a book or a physical gift voucher, you can choose the pick-up option in our brick-and-mortar store.

Personal collection is not possible for most goods, because the store does not offer the same range of plants and accessories as in the e-shop. If you are not sure about the choice, stop by in person and together we will choose or order the right one!

Individual shipping prices:

1. DPD

The DPD courier will contact you the day before delivery regarding the exact delivery date. If you want to deliver the shipment to the delivery point , you can make arrangements with the carrier. The price for delivery of plants and selected accessories from NL to the Czech Republic is CZK 149 and to Slovakia EUR 8.
The price for delivery of our products from the warehouse in Prague is CZK 99 within the Czech Republic . Delivery from our warehouse to Slovakia is for the same price - EUR 8.

2. Post office

You can have the selected goods delivered to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in the Czech Republic for 89,- or to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in SK for € 5 . Simply select the delivery method: Zásilkovna * You select the Zásilkovna branch after completing the order.

After creating an order, you can use the map to select a pick-up point.
The shipping company is limited by the size or weight of the package.
If you cannot choose Zásilkovna, you most likely have bulky products in your basket and you need to choose another carrier.

3. Personal collection
