Ficus benjamina Natasya

The package contains a plant in a plastic pot.

About the plant:
Ficus benjamina Natasja (small-leaved ficus ) and abbreviated "Benjamin" from India where it is considered more like a tree. It is an evergreen tree-like plant that is characterized by its small leaves. Ficuses are among the unpretentious, fast-growing indoor plants that contain latex - a white liquid. The plant takes shape well, so you can eventually make an interesting bonsai out of it or let it grow freely and it will eventually form a bush. With very good care and space, it can grow to a height of several meters in a few years.

Ficus benjamina Natasja has small green leaves. Caring for this plant is easy, however, it is a plant that is prone to drafts and cold air, it also does not benefit from moving the habitat. As a result, it can all fall off.

We wrote more about ficuses in our article .

svetlo Light

The plant thrives best in a location with bright, diffused light. The ideal location is indirect light near windows facing east or west, but without drafts.

zalivka Watering

Water regularly, but always wait for the top layer of the substrate to dry. Ficus does not tolerate overflowing and standing in water, but too dry substrate does not suit it either. During the winter, water less and beware of cold water, rather use water at room temperature.

vzduch Humidity

The plant likes dew on the leaves, which should be frequently wiped from dust with a damp cloth.

mnozeni Propagation

The easiest way to propagate the plant is by stem cuttings - preferably using a cut top part of the plant with 2-3 leaves, which you can root in water or soil.

problemy Common problems

Overwatering and overwatering, root rot: Most often, you can recognize a ficus that has been overwatered by the fact that its leaves begin to fall, which can also turn yellow or develop brown spots. Draft: Ficuses are sensitive to temperature changes. You can tell that the plant has suffered a temperature shock by the leaves, which turn brown and fall off. Change of environment: Ficuses do not tolerate changes (e.g. habitat) well. Therefore, always think carefully about where and when you will move the ficus. The plant reacts to new, unsuitable conditions by shedding leaves. Burns of the leaves: Beware of direct light, which can burn the leaves of the plant, causing brown spots to form on them.

Delivery to the address by courier

We ship live plant orders Monday through Thursday. If we cannot prepare your shipment within these days, we will send it again the following week. We want to avoid plants being left in the depot for long periods of time, which is especially important during the winter months when cold conditions can harm them.

Individual shipping prices:

1. DPD

A DPD courier will contact you the day before delivery with the exact delivery date. If you would like to redirect the shipment to the collection point, you can make arrangements directly with the carrier. In the winter months, however, we strongly do not recommend redirecting to the delivery boxes, as low temperatures can damage the plants. In this case, we cannot be held responsible for the condition of the plants and complaints will not be accepted.

The price of delivery of plants and accessories throughout the Czech Republic is 149 CZK, to Slovakia 8 €.

2. Post office

You can have the selected goods delivered to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in the Czech Republic for CZK 89 or in Slovakia for €5. Keep in mind that the Post Office has restrictions on package dimensions and weight. If you don't see the Post Office option, you probably have bulky products in your cart and you need to choose another carrier. In this case, we are not responsible for the condition of the plants and the claim will not be accepted.
