Rhyme tree - a natural helper in your home
Nowadays, when people are increasingly turning to natural methods of treatment and prevention, rhymingbird is rightly gaining attention. Its ability to relieve cold and cough symptoms makes it an ideal choice for many people. In addition, it is easy to grow, so everyone can have it at home.
Plectranthus amboinicus belongs to the Plectranthus amboinicus family. It has thick, oval, slightly hairy leaves and blooms with small purple or white flowers, although it rarely blooms indoors. The plant can grow up to one meter in height. It is known for its specific aroma - just smell it or rub the leaves between your fingers.
What are the ideal growing conditions?
The rhododendron is a very undemanding plant. Just water it regularly and preferably place it on a windowsill in partial shade. However, it is sensitive to overwatering, so it is important to ensure that the soil dries sufficiently between waterings. Rosewood is easily propagated by cuttings. If it is already outgrowing you, you can shorten it, which will encourage its denser growth. Just put the cuttings in water, where they will take root within a few weeks, and then you can transplant them into a pot.
Use of the rhyming book
What can we use this plant for? Rhyme is a versatile plant with many uses. It fights against colds, can be used as a flavoring for drinks or salads or as a natural home repellant.
Cold, cold, rhyming book!

The easiest way to help with these problems is to rub rhododendron leaves under the nose or insert a torn leaf into the nostril and inhale. Rhyme syrup recipe
Ingredients:
- 30-50 fresh leaves of rosemary (stems can also be used)
- 2 lemons, or an orange (ideally organic)
- 1 kg of cane sugar
- 1 liter of water
Procedure: Rinse the rhododendron leaves under running water to remove dust and dirt. Tear them into smaller pieces or lightly chop them. You can also blend them, which will help release the active ingredients. Peel the lemon and orange and cut into thin slices.
Put the rhododendron leaves, or the mixed mixture, into the pot, pour a liter of water and bring to a boil. Cook on low heat for about 15 minutes. Then remove the pot from the heat and add the chopped citrus slices. Allow the mixture to cool and ideally sit overnight. The next day, strain the mixture and return the infusion to the pot. Add the sugar and heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves. Cook the syrup over low heat for 10-15 minutes until it thickens.
Pour the finished syrup into sterilized glasses or bottles and leave to cool. Store it in a cool, dark place.
Use: Take 1-2 teaspoons of the syrup a day when you have a cold or to strengthen your immunity, or add it to warm tea.
Rosemary syrup is a great helper during flu and cold season, and thanks to the citrus, it also tastes nice.
