The package contains a plant in a plastic pot.

About the plant:
Alocasia, or alocasia in Czech, is a genus of the Araceae family . These plants are massive herbs with a thick rhizome. Their homeland is the subtropical and tropical regions of Asia, Australia and the Pacific.
Alocasia Micholitziana ( also known as Frydek ) is a rare type of alocasia with large, dark green velvety leaves (hence the English name green velvet alocasia ) with distinct light veins.
Alocasia generally belongs to the rather demanding houseplants, which are sensitive to temperature, humidity and overwatering. At the same time, keep in mind with allocations that they often replace old leaves with new ones (so they usually do not increase their number).
In Southeast Asia and Oceania, they are particularly popular for their edible rhizomes and small boiled leaves. Although in the raw state they contain calcium oxalate, which causes mucous membrane irritation and nausea, they are edible after heat treatment. At the same time, the rhizomes are also sought after by Indian and South Asian traditional medicine for their healing effects.

Delivery to the address by courier

We ship live plant orders Monday through Thursday. If we cannot prepare your shipment within these days, we will send it again the following week. We want to avoid plants being left in the depot for long periods of time, which is especially important during the winter months when cold conditions can harm them.

Individual shipping prices:

1. DPD

A DPD courier will contact you the day before delivery with the exact delivery date. If you would like to redirect the shipment to the collection point, you can make arrangements directly with the carrier. In the winter months, however, we strongly do not recommend redirecting to the delivery boxes, as low temperatures can damage the plants. In this case, we cannot be held responsible for the condition of the plants and complaints will not be accepted.

The price of delivery of plants and accessories throughout the Czech Republic is 149 CZK, to Slovakia 8 €.

2. Post office

You can have the selected goods delivered to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in the Czech Republic for CZK 89 or in Slovakia for €5. All you have to do is select the delivery option "Delivery" when ordering. After completing your order, you will be able to use the map to select a specific delivery location.

Keep in mind that the Post Office has restrictions on package dimensions and weight. If you don't see the Post Office option, you probably have bulky products in your cart and you need to choose another carrier. In the winter months, we strongly do not recommend choosing delivery to Z-Boxes due to the risk of the plants dying in the cold. In this case, we are not responsible for the condition of the plants and the claim will not be accepted.

3. Personal collection

You can pick up your order for free in person at the address Křižíkova 55/65, Prague 8. Once your order is ready, we will send you an e-mail with information about the possibility of picking it up. If you do not collect the order within 3 working days , or if you do not inform us of another collection date, it will be automatically cancelled .

4. Express delivery by courier around Prague

Do you need an order as soon as possible? We also offer the goods on Wolt . Wolt delivers these orders within an hour.

5. Z-boxes, Alzaboxes, PPL boxes and others.

In case of payment by cash on delivery, orders for collection boxes are automatically redirected to the nearest collection point.
