SOILY SUKULENT™ peat-free succulent potting mix

Peat-free potting mix is a growing medium that does not contain peat as its main ingredient. Peat is a traditional material harvested from peat bogs, but because of the impact of peat extraction and the emphasis on more sustainable growing, more and more people are choosing peat-free options.

Our hand-blended potting mixes naturally limit the conditions that favor fungus gnat infestations. Fungus gnat larvae usually develop in moist peat mixes rich in organic matter, where they feed on fungi and decaying plant matter. Coconut fiber, the main ingredient of our potting mixes, has a balanced pH, a low content of readily decomposable organic matter and a stable structure, which reduces the natural food available to the larvae.

A breathable, fast-drying peat-free potting mix for cacti, succulents and other drought-loving plants. It provides excellent drainage, prevents waterlogging and is a sustainable alternative to conventional potting mixes.

Scope and method of use: The potting mix is suitable for growing all types of succulents and cacti. Mix before use, plant, and water lightly. Let the potting mix dry out completely between waterings. Fertilizing is recommended 4 to 6 weeks after planting, depending on the needs of the specific plant.

Occupational health and safety: Wear protective gloves when handling the potting mix. Avoid inhaling dust.

First aid: In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with clean water. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice.

Storage conditions: Store in a dry place in the original packaging, out of reach of children and pets. Protect from direct sunlight.
