About the plant:
Selaginella martensi "Jori" in Czech Vraneček is the only living genus of the Vranečkovite family (Selaginellaceae). Selaginella - the so-called rose of Jericho curls up in a ball during drought, and when it encounters a place with higher humidity, it unfolds and regains its original shape and color.

Selaginella belongs more to mosses and ferns, it is a spore-forming plant. It requires more moisture, a semi-shady place, ideally a north window. The temperature is ideally up to 20 C. A breathable substrate with good drainage suits it. The substrate should never dry out, but be careful not to let the plant stand in water.
