Costus Arabicus variegata ( also called "Spiral Ginger" in English) or spiral ginger is a ginger native to the Amazon region. It is a rare variegated variety with attractive white-green leaves. In domestic conditions, it grows up to 1.5 m in height, in ideal conditions it can grow up to 3 meters. The plant belongs to the Zingiberaceae family, like edible gingers, but this one is not edible, it is grown primarily for decoration.
The plant can also bloom with striking white flowers and cleans the air.
