About the plant:
Codiaeum Petra comes from the Euphorbiaceae family. The origin is therefore from Southeast Asia or northern Australia, where these plants grow as bushes with leathery leaves. Codiaeum Petra could also be found under the name croton, but it must not be mistakenly confused with the higher plant classification Crotonae.
Croton leaves are its main pride, because it blooms only rarely and in specific conditions. They have different shapes and colors, they can be green, yellow, brown and red, so they will surely decorate your home in beautiful autumn colors. But we have to be careful, because the leaves lose their color when there is a lack of light.
The plants grow to a height of over one meter . When broken off, a poisonous juice flows out of them, which can cause a rash, nausea if swallowed.
