About the plant:
Candlestick or ceropegia woodi is a climbing succulent plant with small heart-shaped leaves (hence the name string of hearts ) originating from the tropical regions of southern Africa. The Czech name of the plant is derived from the small white-purple flowers, which are shaped like candles. Small tubers (rhizomes) grow along the stems, in which the plant retains water. Ceropegia String of Spades or Ceropegia Orange river is a rarer species that attracts attention with its elongated, pointed leaves in the shape of an arrowhead, by which it differs from the classic heart-shaped candlesticks. It probably got its name Orange after the African river Orange river or because it can get an orange tint under favorable lighting conditions. We can classify the candlestick among the fast-growing but sparsely growing plants - we can achieve full volume by multiplying it gradually. The plant stands out in hanging pots or on shelves, from which we let the veil of tiny leaves flow freely.

Light

The plant needs a lot of light to grow healthy and color its leaves. Give the plant plenty of bright light without sunlight that could burn the leaves. The ideal location is the north and east side.

Watering

Water less than other indoor plants, always after the substrate dries out. In winter, reduce watering to a minimum.

Humidity

The plant likes dry air and therefore does not require an increase in air humidity (we do not sow the plant).

Propagation

Stem cuttings that root in water or soil.

Common problems

Overwatering: Too much water can cause root rot, yellowing and leaf drop.
Broken stems: Be careful when handling the plant as it has very fragile stems that are prone to breaking.

How does DMP delivery work?

All plants and some accessories on our e-shop are sent directly from the grower in Holland. We want them to be at your place as soon as possible and not spend time going around different warehouses and stores. We ship part of our own products marked with the Made in DMP label directly from our warehouse in Prague.
Therefore, it may happen that you will be charged a higher price for shipping, because you have things in the basket both from the grower and from our own production.
If you have products worth CZK 2,000 (For SK 82 EUR) or more in your basket, you will always have FREE shipping!

For some products, such as a book or a physical gift voucher, you can choose the pick-up option in our brick-and-mortar store.

Personal collection is not possible for most goods, because the store does not offer the same range of plants and accessories as in the e-shop. If you are not sure about the choice, stop by in person and together we will choose or order the right one!

Individual shipping prices:

1. DPD

The DPD courier will contact you the day before delivery regarding the exact delivery date. If you want to deliver the shipment to the delivery point , you can make arrangements with the carrier. The price for delivery of plants and selected accessories from NL to the Czech Republic is CZK 149 and to Slovakia EUR 8.
The price for delivery of our products from the warehouse in Prague is CZK 99 within the Czech Republic . Delivery from our warehouse to Slovakia is for the same price - EUR 8.

2. Post office

You can have the selected goods delivered to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in the Czech Republic for 89,- or to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in SK for € 5 . Simply select the delivery method: Zásilkovna * You select the Zásilkovna branch after completing the order.

After creating an order, you can use the map to select a pick-up point.
The shipping company is limited by the size or weight of the package.
If you cannot choose Zásilkovna, you most likely have bulky products in your basket and you need to choose another carrier.

3. Personal collection
